Greetings to all, this is the Introduction to Construction Industry. The objective of this subject is to introduce us, the students, to the construction industry where we will be working as an architect or quantity surveyor someday. In this subject, we will be taught more about the construction industry, the details of the kinds of works there, the details of our work as an architect and quantity surveyor as well as others' works as contractor, engineer, landscape architect, developer, etc.
The lecturer for this subject is Miss Norma Sulaiman. And my tutor for this subject is Ms Delliya Zain. This subject carries 5 credit hours and is separated into 2 (two) parts. The First part is to interview someone who works in the construction industry. With the information that we have gathered, we are need to make an article and a video interviewing that person. Whereas in the second part is to choose a role from the construction industry roles and make a company profile and sample documents for those role and join forces with other roles to build a building.
